Taiwan Woodworking Machinery Association, TWMA, was set up in 1986 and is located in Feng Yuan, Taichung County, Taiwan. The association provides a place to offer TMBA member a platform to communicate, and its target is to promote and improve the woodworking industry in Taiwan.

TWMA sponsors Interwood Taipei Show for Taiwan woodworking machinery companies and foreign agencies to expand their business and increase manufacturers’ opportunities. Every year, TWMA will publish a brochure on Buyer’s Guide & Director. It reports its members and other manufacturers’ yearly operating status and it also can post their advertisement and publishes relations. Clients can easily find their ideal business partner handy. It is not only an association to exchange ideas, but also a platform for manufacturers to make business happen with others. The Chairman of TWMA, Bill Hung, had said three points to suggest Taiwan woodworking industries:

Firstly, New competitive strategy for new industry environment

Secondly, Strategic planning on Marketing and Research and Ddevelopment

Thirdly, Actively promote international marketing oriented strategy.

He also reminds that the low cost advantage in Taiwan is over. Taiwan manufactures need to have better strategic marketing tactics in order for Taiwan woodworking to grow in the future.
