Warner Electric introduces The UNIBRAKE® AC Motor Brakes. 

UNIBRAKE AC motor brakes are spring-applied and feature fewer moving parts to reduce downtime for stop/hold applications. The brakes feature an external manual release lever that allows the driven load to be moved without energizing the motor, an enclosed construction that protects against dust and grit and adjustable splined hubs and friction discs that transmit torque from full to 50%. Single-phase ac coils provide fast engagement and release times. The brakes are interchangeable with standard motor brakes.

The motor brakes are commonly used as parking brakes to hold a load in place or as stopping brakes to dynamically decelerate a load. Applications include:
